MY WHY

I started ZakiyaVision because I kept seeing something that bothered me. Purpose-driven founders doing incredible work, hidden behind brands that didn’t reflect any of it. Brands that were built quickly, pieced together, or designed without a real strategy behind them. I knew I could change that.

I’m passionate about bringing your vision to life and helping your brand stand out in your industry through intentional, strategic design. This isn’t just design to me. It’s the work of helping founders build businesses that actually feel like them.

MY BACKGROUND

Before ZakiyaVision, I built a career most people would’ve told me to stay in. I started in tech with a B.S. in Computer Science, a software engineering internship, and a role as a technical analyst before earning my MBA and moving into recruiting, early careers, and HR at companies like JPMorgan Chase, Microsoft, and Citibank. Different fields on paper but the same thread running through all of them. I’ve always been fascinated by how things work, how people work, and how to close the gap between who someone is and how they’re showing up.

 

Design is where all of that finally comes together.

 

I’VE BEEN WHERE YOU ARE

Being a purpose-driven founder myself, I know what it feels like to sit in every stage. The scrappy beginning. The messy middle. The part where your brand is three versions behind the business you’re actually running.

I know how much of yourself goes into this work. I know what it’s like to outgrow your brand faster than you can afford to rebuild it. And I know what it means to finally have someone in your corner who sees the vision and knows how to bring it to life.

OUTSIDE OF DESIGN

When I'm not designing, you can find me listening to an audiobook while building a LEGO set or going on a walk while yapping to one of my long distance friends (I love to multitask).
